Describe your situation in the box below: one of our consultants calls you back, listens to your case in real time and suggests the best solution among the partner clinics. You continue only if you want to.
“You don’t have enough bone for implants.” If you’ve heard that sentence — after years of dentures, gum disease or old extractions — it is rarely the end of the road. Bone loss changes how implants are placed, not usually whether they can be. The honest answer depends on a 3D scan read by the surgeon who would treat you — not on a price list, and not on this page. What this page can do is lay out the real options, what each involves, and how to get your own case answered before you travel anywhere. Albanian Dental Clinic is not a clinic: surgery is performed exclusively by a licensed partner clinic in Tirana; we coordinate the journey in English.
Jawbone shrinks when it has no tooth root to hold: after extractions, under long-worn dentures, and with periodontitis. An implant needs enough bone volume to anchor in — which is why a clinic that only places standard implants may tell you “no”, while a surgeon working with grafting and tilted-implant protocols can often still say “yes, this way”.
| Option | What it is | When it fits |
|---|---|---|
| Bone graft | Bone volume is rebuilt with graft material; implants follow once it heals | Localised defects; single or several implant sites |
| Sinus lift | The sinus floor is raised and grafted to create height in the upper jaw | Upper back teeth, where bone is naturally thinnest |
| All-on-4 / All-on-6 | A full fixed arch on 4–6 implants, angled to use the bone you still have — often without grafting at all | Most or all teeth failing in an arch; moderate bone loss |
| All-on-8 protocols | Severe bone loss or a heavier bite; sometimes paired with tilted or pterygoid implants | Advanced cases — decided only after the 3D scan |
Which of these applies to you is a surgical decision made on your CT/3D scan — it is determined by the surgeon, not chosen from a menu. The videocall exists exactly for this question.
If most of an arch is already failing, the graft-free route is usually the one to understand first: All-on-4 and All-on-6, explained with real prices.
Orama and Nadine travelled to Tirana for exactly this situation: a sinus lift, implants and a bridge. Their story is published, with written consent, on the official channel — in their own words.

Both partner clinics work with documented implant systems: MegaGen AnyRidge at Creadent and DentX, and Straumann at DentX — stated openly, with the labs, on the materials page. You know the system going into your jaw before you agree to anything.
Full-arch work starts from around 2,400 € per arch for All-on-4 (see the full breakdown). Grafts and sinus lifts are quoted per case, after the scan — in writing, with −20% committed against the published price lists: Creadent prices · DentX prices.
Send your panoramic X-ray or CT if you have one — or just describe your situation. You talk to the doctor who would treat you on a free videocall, and the answer you get is the surgeon’s, not a salesperson’s. The whole journey, step by step: how it works.

Can I get implants if I was told I don’t have enough bone?
Often yes — through grafting, a sinus lift, or a tilted-implant full-arch protocol that uses the bone you still have. Which route applies is decided by the surgeon on your 3D scan, and you can have that conversation on a free videocall before travelling.
Does All-on-4 avoid bone grafting?
In many cases, yes — the implants are angled to anchor in stronger bone, which is often what makes a fixed arch possible without a graft. Severe cases may still need grafting or an All-on-8 protocol; the scan decides.
How do I know what my case needs before travelling?
You send your X-ray or CT and speak to the treating doctor by videocall, free. The plan and the quote arrive in writing, with −20% committed against the published price list — what is agreed is what is done.
