Tirana's partner clinics, presented in English. You choose the one you're comfortable with — and we stay with you remotely, through recovery and throughout the warranty years.
📞 A real consultant calls you back shortly · free, no obligation
Describe your situation in the box below: one of our consultants calls you back, listens to your case in real time and suggests the best solution among the partner clinics. You continue only if you want to.
Our standard
Few patients at a time. By choice.
We deliberately limit the number of patients we follow at any one time. That preserves the time each case needs — clinical review, coordination with the doctor, translation of consultations, post-operative follow-up.
We welcome everyone, but we serve to a standard.
Your stay in Tirana
Three hotels in central Tirana. We book the one that fits your treatment.
For the duration of your treatment your accommodation is booked by us, coordinated with your appointment dates. We work with three hotels in the centre of Tirana — the Hilton Garden Inn, our official partner hotel, the Imperator, and Vila 15.
What does it really cost? What are the price ranges?
Dental implant prices in Albania depend on the case. As a guide: single implant from 300 €, ceramic crown from 100 €, All-on-4 (per arch, 4 implants + 12 crowns) from 2 400 €. These prices are far below what you would pay in the UK, Ireland, the US or Canada for equivalent materials and techniques.
You always receive a written, personalized quote before any commitment, and the price quoted is the price you pay.
How do you get paid? Where does your commission come from?
Dental tourism with Albanian Dental Clinic works like this: you are not the one paying us — we are paid by the clinic, not by the patient. Partner clinics pay Albanian Dental Clinic a fee for each patient who, after freely weighing the options, chooses to be treated with them. Our margin is built into the price of the written quote, exactly the way a real-estate agent is paid by the seller while representing the buyer.
Our interests are aligned with yours: we only earn if the clinic does good work. If a clinic fails to do its job, we are the ones who lose, because we cover the costs of the whole journey — which is why we only keep clinics that hold the standards. This transparency is the foundation of our model.
What happens if something goes wrong during or after treatment?
All the dental implants in Albania and crowns we propose come with a written guarantee from the partner clinics (5 years for crowns, from 10 years depending on the implant manufacturer's warranty).
But we stand behind the guarantee too: an English-speaking contact follows you remotely and takes care of everything the clinic cannot handle from a distance — your file, the documents and every patient need — handling it all in a way that is fast, efficient and convenient for you. If a problem arises, our team coordinates directly with the clinic to have it taken care of, so you never have to handle anything in Albanian on your own.
My teeth are worn down from years of grinding — can implants fix that?
Severe wear from bruxism is one of the most common cases treated at our partner clinics in Tirana. It starts with a panoramic X-ray or CT and a written treatment plan — sometimes implants, sometimes crowns, often a combination. In the patient video on our testimonials page, one patient describes exactly this starting point and the result. Request a free written quote and we’ll review your case.
My crowns and caps keep failing — is there a permanent option?
Repeatedly failing crowns usually point to a problem with the underlying tooth or root. Where a tooth can’t be saved, an implant replaces the root itself — one patient in our video describes eighteen months without a problem after years of failures. Whether that’s right for your case is decided by assessment, not by us: you receive the partner clinic’s written plan and quote before deciding anything.
How long do I need to stay in Tirana?
The time you spend in Tirana depends on the treatment. For a simple case (1-2 crowns, whitening, conservative care): 4 to 7 days. For implants: 2 trips spaced 4 to 6 months apart (placement, then the final prosthesis after healing). For an All-on-4: 5 to 7 days for placement with temporary teeth, then a return trip 4 to 5 months later for the final set.
Which clinics do you work with?
We work with a selected network of clinics and dentists in Tirana, Albania — including Creadent Clinic, Gaia Dental Clinic, Primo Dental Clinic and other partner clinics. Every clinic has been visited in person, and every selected practitioner is registered with the Albanian Order of Physicians.
Can I speak with a former patient before deciding?
Yes: you can read our patients' testimonials and speak with a former patient before deciding. During your call with our team, you can ask to be put in touch with a volunteer patient who went through a journey similar to yours.
What if I want to cancel?
At any time before your arrival in Tirana, you can cancel free of charge and without justification. No deposit is requested until you have accepted the treatment plan in writing.

Your path at Primo
Four steps, in this order. You send your case in English — photos, any scans you already have, and what bothers you. Albanian Dental Clinic arranges a free videocall with the doctor who would treat you: an orientation on your situation, never a binding diagnosis. You receive a written quote at a guaranteed price, with 20% off Primo's own list price because you booked through the portal — the number does not move when you arrive. Then you travel: flights and stay arranged around the clinic's schedule, an English-speaking coordinator with you in Tirana, and remote follow-up through the warranty years once you are home. The full journey is at how it works.
Questions patients ask about Primo
Can I leave Tirana with fixed teeth in one trip?
Immediate loading — fixed teeth placed on the implants without waiting for full healing — is one of Primo's stated specialties. Whether your own case allows it depends on your bone and your scan, and only the surgeon can answer that after reviewing them. Nobody should promise it before your 3D scan is read.
Is the 3D scan done at the clinic?
Yes — 3D scanning and radiology are on site, so the plan, the surgery and the check are not spread across different addresses.
I am anxious about dental surgery. Is there an option?
Conscious sedation is available at Primo. Raise it on the videocall with the doctor so it is planned into your treatment day rather than decided on arrival.
Where exactly is the clinic?
In the Condor Center on Rruga e Kavajës, Tirana. Your travel and stay are arranged around the clinic's own appointment schedule.

Creadent Clinic is a dental clinic in Tirana led by Dr. Klodian Bila, with an in-house CAD/CAM dental laboratory: crowns, bridges, prosthetics and aligners are designed and produced in the same building. Services: implantology, oral surgery, Invisalign, fixed and removable prosthetics, cosmetic dentistry. Reviews — real patient videos →
Creadent is an implantology and oral-surgery clinic with its own CAD/CAM dental laboratory in the same building — the practice began as that laboratory in 1993 and the clinic opened in 2006. It places the MegaGen implant system, and designs and produces its own zirconia crowns, bridges and prosthetics on site. Clear aligners and everyday restorative work are handled by the same team. Around the founder, Dr. Klodian Bila, the clinic works with three resident doctors and four collaborating doctors, five qualified assistants and ten specialised laboratory technicians, and receives patients from Albania, Kosovo, Italy, Germany, Sweden and the United States.

Questions patients ask about Creadent
Are the crowns and bridges really made in the clinic?
Yes. Creadent runs its own CAD/CAM laboratory in the same building as the surgery, with ten specialised technicians, so design, try-in and correction of a prosthesis happen in one place — which is why prosthetic stages can often be planned inside the same stay. Your exact schedule is set by the clinic after your scans.
Which implant system does Creadent use?
The MegaGen implant system. The written quote names the components used in your case before you commit to anything.
Who would actually treat me?
Dr. Klodian Bila, oral surgeon and implantologist, who founded the clinic in 2006, working with Dr. Ledia Lëngu and Dr. Sonila Toçilla. You meet the doctor on a free videocall before you travel — see Dr. Bila's profile.
Can I have clear aligners through the portal?
Clear aligners are one of Creadent's stated specialties. How many visits a case needs is decided by the clinic once it has your scans — it is not something anyone can promise in advance.

DentX Clinic by Dr. Gjergj Dilo is a dental clinic in the Blloku, central Tirana (Rruga Ibrahim Rugova). For Albanian Dental Clinic patients, the clinical contact is Dr. Gjergj Dilo himself, oral surgeon and implantologist, who receives and treats patients at DentX Clinic: you meet him by videocall before you travel, and find him in the chair in Tirana. DentX Clinic sits in the Blloku, central Tirana (Rruga Ibrahim Rugova). Its work centres on oral surgery and implantology with Dr. Gjergj Dilo — dental implants and fixed prosthetics — and he is a promoter of the Flapless method, implant placement without incision or sutures, working with the MegaGen AnyRidge implant line. Alongside him, Dr. Alisa Gjipali covers restorative and aesthetic work: composite restorations, natural veneers and personalised smile design. Dr. Dilo is registered with the Order of Physicians of Albania and keeps his own practice site at gjergjdilo.com.

Questions patients ask about DentX Clinic
Who exactly will treat me at DentX?
Dr. Gjergj Dilo, oral surgeon and implantologist — the clinic carries his name. You meet him on a free videocall before you book anything, and you find the same person in the chair in Tirana. His profile is at Dr. Gjergj Dilo.
What is the Flapless method?
Placing implants without cutting and stitching the gum — a minimally invasive approach Dr. Dilo promotes. Whether it suits your case is his judgement after seeing your scan; it is not right for every situation.
Which implants are used?
The MegaGen AnyRidge line. What your case needs is itemised in the written quote before you travel.
Can aesthetic work be done at the same clinic?
Yes — Dr. Alisa Gjipali works at DentX on composite restorations, natural veneers and smile design, so surgical and cosmetic stages can be planned by one team.
We connect you to the right doctor. That's the whole job.
Albanian Dental Clinic exists for one reason: to be among the best at connecting a patient to the right doctor. Not to a clinic's sales desk — to the surgeon who will actually treat you. We read your case in English, match it to the doctor in Tirana whose real casework fits it, introduce you personally, and stay beside you remotely through recovery and every warranty year. We select the partner clinics and check them against previous patients' feedback — each is shown on this site with its real Google rating. We inform, guide and accompany; treatments are performed exclusively by licensed partner clinics. Your health is not a holiday package: it is a serious clinical journey, built on diagnosis, expertise and continuity of care.
How it works
From your X-rays to your doctor — in four steps
The doctor–patient connection is the product. Everything below exists to get that match right.
Step 1
Your case, read by us
Send your X-rays or panoramic. We review your case in English and tell you honestly what is possible — before anyone talks about prices.
Step 2
The doctor match
We shortlist the doctor whose documented casework fits your case, and show you why. You see who will treat you before you ever fly.
Step 3
The personal introduction
A written quote at a guaranteed price, then a direct introduction to your doctor — you talk to the person treating you, not a call center.
Step 4
Never alone after
Recovery and the warranty years are followed remotely, in English. We stay the bridge between you and your doctor for as long as the work is guaranteed.
Our commitment
Follow-up that doesn't stop when you get home
You choose the clinic you feel comfortable with; we stay by your side, remotely, throughout recovery and the warranty years (5 years on crowns; 10 years to lifetime on implants depending on the brand). Clinical procedures and the warranty are the responsibility of the partner clinics; we coordinate and follow up in English.

Materials and laboratories: what each partner clinic actually uses
You cannot walk into a clinic in Tirana to inspect it before you commit. So the least a coordinator can do is name the implant system, name where the prosthetic work is made, and name the diagnostic equipment — and say plainly where a clinic has not published something, rather than filling the gap with a comfortable sentence. Everything on this page comes from what each clinic states about itself. Your written quote names the exact system and material for your own case; this page is what lets you read that quote knowing what the words mean.
Straumann® is the system we recommend, whichever clinic your case goes to. It is the most extensively documented implant line in the world, and that documentation is what protects you years from now, in another country, if a component ever has to be matched or replaced. Ask for it by name — and make sure the quote you sign says it.
Five doctors; immediate-load implants and zirconia crowns
Where a cell says not published, the clinic has not stated it publicly and we will not invent it. Ask us and we confirm it in writing before you commit to anything — and this page is updated when we can state it here too.
How to read an implant quote
An implant is not one object but three: a titanium screw placed in the bone, an abutment that connects it, and the crown or bridge on top. Each part can be a different brand and a different price, and a quote that names none of them is telling you nothing.
Why the system's name matters years later. If a component ever loosens, fractures or needs replacing — a decade after the surgery, in a different country — a dentist has to source the matching part. Documented systems from established manufacturers keep their component lines available and identifiable; an unnamed implant can be genuinely difficult to match later. This is the single most practical reason to insist the system is written down, and to keep the implant passport the clinic gives you.
Zirconia is a category, not a specification. A zirconia crown can be monolithic — milled from one solid block, stronger, usually chosen for the back of the mouth where the bite loads hardest — or layered, with ceramic built over a zirconia core for more translucency at the front. Both are legitimate; they suit different teeth. The question worth asking is not "is it zirconia" but which of the two, and for which teeth.
Veneers divide the same way: composite, built directly onto the tooth in a single visit, versus porcelain or ceramic, made in a laboratory and bonded on. Clear aligners likewise — Invisalign is one manufacturer among several, and Creadent states it works with it.
Why an in-house laboratory changes your trip
This matters more for a travelling patient than for a local one. When the laboratory is in the same building as the chair, a prosthesis can be designed, tried in, adjusted and corrected during the same stay. When the work goes out to an external laboratory, each correction adds a round trip that a patient who flies home cannot easily make.
Gaia states an in-house prosthetics laboratory. Creadent states an in-house CAD/CAM laboratory in the same building as the surgery, with ten specialised technicians. DentX has no in-house laboratory — its prosthetic work is made externally, which is worth knowing when you plan how many days you stay. For Primo the arrangement is not published, and we ask on your behalf before you travel.
The rule we hold ourselves to
Your written quote must name the implant system and the crown material. If a quote you receive — from us or from anyone else — says only "implant" and "crown", ask what they are before you sign. A clinic that is willing to put the names in writing is telling you something real about how it works. That is the same principle as the guaranteed written price: the commitment is only worth what it names.
Treatment is performed by the licensed partner clinic and its doctors. Albanian Dental Clinic coordinates the case, the trip and the follow-up — we do not perform any medical act, and we do not supply materials.
For the duration of your treatment, accommodation is taken care of. We work with three hotels in central Tirana — the Hilton Garden Inn, our official partner hotel, the Imperator, and Vila 15 — and the booking is arranged by us, coordinated with your appointment dates. Which one you stay in depends on availability and on where your treatment takes place; we tell you before you travel, and we arrange the journey between the hotel and the clinic either way.
The Hilton Garden Inn Tirana is our official partner hotel and the first option we offer. It sits on Bulevardi Gjergj Fishta, about two kilometres from the city centre, and it is the choice to make if you want an international standard you already recognise — a full buffet breakfast, a restaurant and bar on site, and a gym.

Imperator Hotel
The Imperator is a 4-star hotel — the rating it declares on its own site — on Rruga Artan Lenja, roughly a twenty-minute walk from Skanderbeg Square. Its rooms run from doubles and twins through to suites, and breakfast is served in the hotel. The photographs below are of the property itself.
The garden restaurant is central to the stay at Vila 15: breakfast is served under the trees, and the evening kitchen is regularly mentioned in guest reviews. Its direct connection to the rooms means you can eat in without leaving the hotel after a clinic appointment.

Between appointments, you can explore the city. Each landmark below opens its walking route on Google Maps, measured from Vila 15 — all three hotels are central, so the distances from the Hilton and the Imperator are comparable rather than identical.
After breakfast, the day begins at your hotel — all three sit inside central Tirana, within the ring of the boulevard and the Blloku district.

The cheapest countries for dental implants: Albania, Turkey, Hungary and Croatia compared
Many patients — across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Ireland — consider dental tourism to cut the cost of implants and crowns. The most searched-for destinations are Albania, Hungary, Turkey, Spain and Croatia. Albanian Dental Clinic is not a clinic: we are an English-language service that informs, guides and accompanies patients to licensed partner clinics in Albania, where treatments are performed exclusively by qualified practitioners. We won't tell you one destination is "better" than another — we show you the concrete factors to weigh, in full transparency.
Dental tourism: Albania, Hungary, Turkey, Spain or Croatia?
Hungary. Europe's long-established dental tourism destination (Budapest, Sopron): competitive prices and a large number of clinics. Its weak point remains follow-up — check-ups mean another trip, with no English-speaking remote support once you are back home.
Turkey. Often the cheapest (Istanbul, Antalya), with very large, high-volume clinics. But the longer journey makes check-ups and post-operative follow-up more complicated.
Spain. A familiar choice for some, but prices there are close to Western European levels: the savings are far smaller.
Croatia. A popular option for patients who can travel there by car, but generally more expensive than Albania, Hungary or Turkey.
Albania — the rising destination worth exploring. Long overlooked, Albania is today one of Europe's fastest-growing travel destinations, and dental tourism is following the same curve: modern clinics, qualified practitioners and brand-name materials, at some of the lowest prices in Europe. A single implant starts from around 350 € at our partner clinics — a substantial saving compared with the United States, the United Kingdom or Ireland. And it is the only one of the five where, with Albanian Dental Clinic, you are personally introduced to the clinic, supported in English and followed up remotely throughout the entire warranty. A short direct flight from many European hubs.
1. A coordinated journey. Implant treatment often takes more than one visit (diagnosis, surgery, check-up). What matters is not just the distance, but how every step is organized: flights, transfers, appointments, accommodation. We coordinate the entire journey, in English, from start to finish.
2. Follow-up after treatment. This is the most underestimated point. With Albanian Dental Clinic, an English-speaking contact follows you remotely throughout recovery and the warranty years — you are never on your own once you are back home. Whatever destination you consider, always ask how follow-up is handled: it is what separates a supported journey from an isolated procedure.
3. Costs and what's included. Prices vary with the material, the complexity and the clinic. At the partner clinics in Albania, a single implant starts from around 350 €; more complex procedures and premium solutions sit above that, case by case. Always compare like for like — same material, same scope (diagnosis, prosthetics, warranty, follow-up) — not just the implant price.
Why patients choose Albania with us
Selected partner clinics in Tirana — you choose the one that suits you.

Remote follow-up in English throughout recovery and the warranty years.

How to decide
There is no single ideal destination for everyone. If what matters to you is a journey coordinated in English and reliable remote follow-up at every step, Albania with Albanian Dental Clinic is built for exactly that. The first step is simple: you receive a clear plan and quote, with no commitment.
Whichever destination you're weighing, ask the same question everywhere: will you actually speak to the doctor who'd treat you, by name, before you book anything? At the partner clinics coordinated by Albanian Dental Clinic, the answer is yes — see the named doctors and hear from real patients who made the comparison themselves.
Albanian Dental Clinic coordinates your journey; treatments are performed exclusively by licensed partner clinics in Albania.
Dental crowns in Albania: zirconia, ceramic and prices
A cracked tooth or a crown that's failing doesn't improve with time — and in the United States, the United Kingdom or Ireland, replacing it privately remains expensive. As one of our filmed patients said after years of failing crowns: "18 months on — I have not had a problem at all." A dental crown protects and restores a damaged, cracked or root-treated tooth, and dental tourism in Tirana lets you have it placed with brand-name materials at a fraction of the cost. Albanian Dental Clinic is not a clinic: we coordinate your journey in English; placement is performed exclusively by a licensed partner clinic in Albania.
What is a dental crown?
A crown is a "cap" that completely covers a tooth too damaged for a simple filling: a fractured tooth, a heavily decayed one, or a tooth devitalized after root canal treatment. It restores the tooth's shape, strength and appearance, and protects what remains of it. A well-made crown can last many years.
Zirconia, ceramic or metal-ceramic: which material?
Zirconia — very strong, aesthetic and metal-free: the all-round choice, suited to visible and back teeth alike.
Ceramic (E-max) — maximum translucency and a very natural look: preferred for front teeth.
Metal-ceramic — a more economical option, mainly for back teeth.
The material is chosen with the practitioner based on the tooth's position and your clinical situation, after a review of your scans — which we arrange in English before you travel.
Dental crown prices in Albania
The price of a dental crown depends on the material and the clinic. At our partner clinics in Tirana, every crown comes with a written quote at a guaranteed price, well below the rates charged in Western Europe — that is the whole point of dental tourism. Always compare like for like: diagnosis, placement, warranty and follow-up, not just the sticker price.
Why crowns cost a fraction of UK and US prices in Tirana
The same zirconia and ceramic materials, an in-house prosthetics laboratory at several partner clinics, and lower clinical overheads — crowns at our partner clinics start from around 100–160 € each, with the written quote naming the material and the warranty.
Do you actually need a crown?
A crown is not always the answer for a damaged tooth, and an honest assessment starts by ruling out the alternatives. A filling is enough when enough healthy tooth structure remains; a veneer covers the front surface for a cosmetic change without the fuller reduction a crown requires (see our veneers page for that distinction). A crown becomes the right tool when the tooth is too damaged, too decayed, or too weakened after root canal treatment for either of those to hold up — which is why the practitioner reviews your scans before recommending one, rather than defaulting to it.
The crown procedure and timeline
Two visits, in most cases. At the first, the tooth is prepared and shaped, an impression or digital scan is taken, and a temporary crown protects the tooth while the definitive one is made — at several partner clinics, in the same in-house laboratory, which shortens the wait between visits. At the second, once the definitive crown is finished and checked for fit and bite, it is permanently fitted. Root-canal-treated teeth are prepared and reviewed first; the crown timeline follows once that treatment is confirmed to have succeeded.
The named specialists for crown and prosthetic work
One doctor at the partner clinics carries fixed prosthetics as a stated specialty on her own profile:
Dr Brunilda Sharra (Gaia Dental Clinic) — her profile states she is a specialist in fixed, removable and implant-supported prosthetics.
Before and after
Real before/after cases are shown on the partner clinics' own storefront pages. Individual results vary by case.

A well-made crown can last many years, though the exact lifespan depends on the material, your bite and your aftercare. The written quote names the material and the warranty terms so this is agreed in writing, not left to guesswork.
Will I be without a tooth between visits?
No — a temporary crown protects the prepared tooth for the period between the first visit and the definitive crown being fitted, so you are never left with an exposed or unprotected tooth.
Which material is right for me — zirconia, ceramic or metal-ceramic?
That is a clinical decision made with the practitioner after reviewing your scans, based on the tooth's position and your situation, not a preference you need to arrive with.
Is a crown the same as a veneer?
No. A veneer covers the front surface of a tooth and preserves most of its structure; a crown covers the whole tooth and requires more reduction. Which one applies to your case depends on how damaged the tooth actually is.

Full mouth dental implants in Albania: All-on-4 and All-on-6
Missing all or most of the teeth in an arch — or years of decay and bone loss that made saving them impossible — leaves few real options at home. In the UK, full-arch implant treatment is almost never available on the NHS, so the choice is a high-cost private plan or an indefinite wait; American patients typically face five-figure quotes per arch. All-on-4 and All-on-6 replace all the teeth in an arch on 4 or 6 implants, with a fixed bridge — a complete solution for patients with missing or badly damaged teeth. Dental tourism in Tirana makes these rehabilitations accessible, at a fraction of the price charged in the United States, the United Kingdom or Ireland. Albanian Dental Clinic is not a clinic: placement is performed exclusively by a licensed partner clinic; we coordinate the journey in English.
All-on-4, All-on-6 or All-on-8: what's the difference?
The principle is the same: a complete fixed prosthesis is anchored on just a few implants, instead of one implant per tooth. The number — 4, 6 or 8 implants — depends on bone quality and volume and the load to be carried. It is determined by the surgeon after a 3D scan, not chosen in advance.
Protocol
Implants per arch
Typically suits
Starting price
All-on-4
4
Adequate bone volume, the most common protocol
From around 2,400 € per arch
All-on-6
6
Wider load distribution, some cases of reduced bone

All-on-8
8
Severe bone loss or a heavier bite; sometimes paired with tilted or pterygoid implants
Quoted per case, after the 3D scan
Indicative only — the surgeon sets the actual protocol and price from your own 3D scan and written quote, never from a table.
Your journey, step by step
A full-arch rehabilitation follows a fixed sequence — the same shape as every case coordinated through the portal (see the general model in how it works), specific here to All-on-4/6/8:
Send your case in English — a description of your teeth, any existing X-rays or panoramic scans, and photos if you have them.
Videocall with the surgeon who would operate — an orientation on what your case likely involves, never a binding diagnosis; that requires the in-person 3D scan below.
3D CBCT scan on arrival — the imaging that actually determines 4, 6 or 8 implants, their position, and whether a tilted or pterygoid placement is needed to avoid a bone graft.
Surgery day — implant placement, and where immediate loading applies, a fixed provisional bridge fitted the same stay.
Healing at home — the implants integrate with the bone over a period the surgeon sets from your own case; you return to daily life on the provisional bridge.
Return visit for the definitive prosthesis — once healing is complete, the final fixed bridge is fitted at the same partner clinic.
Remote follow-up in English — through recovery and the warranty years, coordinated from home.
Immediate loading: fixed teeth in a single stay
In many cases, immediate loading lets you go home with fixed provisional teeth during your stay in Tirana. This is possible because the implant is anchored deep enough, and with enough initial stability, to carry a temporary bridge from day one — rather than being left to heal undisturbed under the gum, the older protocol for single implants. The bone then fuses to the implant surface over the following months (a process called osseointegration) while you are already using fixed provisional teeth day to day. The definitive prosthesis is fitted once that healing is complete. The exact timeline, and whether immediate loading is right for your case at all, is set by the practitioner after your 3D scan — it depends on bone density and the number and position of the implants placed, not on a fixed schedule.
All-on-4/6 versus single implants or a removable denture
Three different answers to tooth loss get compared, and they are not interchangeable. A single implant replaces one tooth and needs enough bone at that one site; it is the right tool when most of the arch is healthy. A removable denture is the least invasive and least expensive option, but it sits on the gum rather than being fixed, and many wearers describe reduced bite force and stability. All-on-4/6 sits between the two: a full arch of teeth, fixed rather than removable, anchored on a handful of implants rather than one per tooth — the option built specifically for a case where most or all of an arch is already gone, not a substitute for a single missing tooth.
Who is it for?
Patients with no remaining teeth or teeth that cannot be saved.
Denture wearers who want a fixed, stable and comfortable solution — the most common reason patients ask about this treatment.
Cases of insufficient bone — solutions such as tilted or pterygoid implants often avoid major grafting.
Patients who have already been told at home that a bone graft, and a much longer treatment timeline, would be needed first — sometimes true, sometimes avoidable with a tilted or pterygoid approach; the 3D scan is what actually decides it, not a first opinion given without one.
What's inside the written quote
A full-arch quote from a partner clinic is itemised, not a single headline number. It names: the 3D CBCT scan and diagnostics; the implants themselves — the brand and system used is stated per clinic (Straumann® at Gaia, among others); the surgery and, where it applies, the immediate provisional bridge; the definitive prosthesis, made in-house at several partner clinics; and the warranty terms in writing. That is what "guaranteed price" means here — every line is on the document before you travel, at −20% off the clinic's own list.
All-on-4 / All-on-6 prices in Albania
At our partner clinics in Tirana, All-on-4 starts from around 2 400 € per arch, with a written quote at a guaranteed price; All-on-6 and premium solutions sit above that, depending on the case and the material. Always compare like for like: implants, prosthetics, warranty and follow-up — not just the headline price.
Can you get full-mouth implants on the NHS?
It is quoted privately, per arch, at several times the price of the same materials placed in Tirana. At our partner clinics, All-on-4 starts from around 2,400 € per arch — with a written, itemised quote from the licensed partner clinic before you travel. One of our filmed patients put the outcome simply: “It’s just like having your own teeth.”
What does a full mouth of implants cost in the US?
The same treatment classes — All-on-4 and All-on-6, with brand-name implants — are performed by our licensed partner clinics in Tirana from around 2,400 € per arch, always with the clinic’s written plan and price first. You see who treats you, and what it costs, before booking anything.
The surgeons behind an All-on-4/6/8 case
Full-arch surgery is not a generalist's procedure. Two named surgeons at the partner clinics carry it as a stated specialty:
Dr. Redi Xhangolli (Gaia Dental Clinic) — implant surgeon with more than 10,000 implants placed over his career; his profile states severe bone atrophy and immediate loading, All-on-4/6/8, as a named specialty.
Both are reachable by videocall before you book anything — see the full doctors directory for every named clinician across the partner clinics.
Watch a real patient's experience
Patients treated in Tirana describe teeth worn down over years, failing crowns and dentures — and full-arch rehabilitation after. Published with written consent.
Before and after
Real cases are shown on the partner clinics' own storefront pages. Individual results vary by case, and a full-arch case is rarely a single before/after pair — it typically spans the extraction or clearance stage, the provisional-bridge stage, and the definitive prosthesis, which is why the clinics' own case galleries are worth reading alongside the written quote, not instead of the videocall with the surgeon.
Travel and stay length for a full-arch case
A full-arch case usually needs longer in Tirana than a single implant or a crown — surgery day itself, plus the fitting of the provisional bridge, are typically planned across the same stay, with a separate return visit once healing is complete for the definitive prosthesis. Exactly how many days, and whether one trip or two, is set once your 3D scan is reviewed. As with every case coordinated through the portal, travel and accommodation are arranged around the clinic's own schedule — treatment days and rest days planned together — at no extra cost from ADC on top of the clinic's own written quote.
Risks and warranty, honestly
Implant surgery carries the risks of any surgical procedure, and long-term outcomes depend on bone quality, healing and aftercare — no clinic can honestly promise otherwise, and we do not. What the partner clinics commit to in writing: the warranty terms named on your quote before you travel, and remote follow-up in English through the warranty years so any concern is raised with your coordinator and relayed to the treating clinic. The videocall before you book is where risk specific to your own case — bone volume, health history, the likely number of implants — is actually discussed with the surgeon; nothing here substitutes for that conversation, or for the in-person examination once you arrive.
Frequently asked questions
What's the real difference between All-on-4 and All-on-6?
The number of implants anchoring the fixed prosthesis — 4 or 6 — set by the surgeon from your own 3D scan, based on bone quality and the load to be carried. Neither is inherently "better"; each is the right answer for a different case.
Will I leave Tirana with fixed teeth, or a removable prosthesis?
Where immediate loading applies, you go home with a fixed provisional bridge the same stay. The definitive prosthesis follows on a return visit once healing is complete. Whether immediate loading applies to your case is set by the surgeon, not decided in advance.
What happens if I have very little bone left?
Tilted or pterygoid implant placement — used at several partner clinics — is designed for exactly this, and often avoids a separate bone-grafting procedure. Whether it applies to you is a 3D-scan decision, discussed with the surgeon.
Is the price on my quote the price I actually pay?
Yes — the written quote is itemised and guaranteed before you travel, at −20% off the clinic's own published list. The number does not move on arrival.

Dental implants in Hungary vs Albania
Hungary (Budapest, Sopron) is Europe's long-established dental tourism destination. Let's compare it honestly with Albania — not to declare one destination "better", but to lay out the concrete factors. Albanian Dental Clinic is not a clinic: we coordinate and accompany; treatments are performed exclusively by licensed partner clinics in Albania.
Hungary: the historic hub
Implants and crowns at competitive prices, with many experienced clinics, especially in Budapest and Sopron. A proven choice if price is your main criterion.
Its weak point: follow-up
Every post-operative check-up means another trip, and there is no English-speaking remote support once you are back home. You manage the aftermath on your own, from afar.
Albania, with Albanian Dental Clinic
Some of the lowest prices in Europe, a short direct flight from many European hubs, and above all support in English: a written quote at a guaranteed price, a personal introduction to the partner clinic, and remote follow-up throughout recovery and the warranty years. Always compare like for like — same materials, same scope — not just the sticker price.
Meet a named doctor before you decide
At the partner clinics, you speak with a real, named clinician — for example Dr. Gjergj Dilo, oral surgeon and implantologist at DentX Clinic — by videocall before you book anything. Real patients describe their own journeys on the reviews page.
Frequently asked questions
Is dental tourism in Hungary cheaper than at home?
Yes — Hungarian rates are significantly lower than those in the United States, the United Kingdom or Ireland. Albania sits in the same range, often among the lowest in Europe.
Hungary or Albania: what's the difference for follow-up?
In Hungary, check-ups mean another trip and there is no English-speaking remote support. With Albanian Dental Clinic, you are followed up in English, remotely, throughout recovery and the warranty years.
How long does a dental treatment stay last?
It depends on the treatment: from a short stay for crowns and veneers to a few days for implantology. The exact schedule is set by the practitioner after your assessment.

Dental implants in Turkey vs Albania: a factual comparison
Turkey (Istanbul, Antalya) is the best-known hub for dental tourism. Let's compare it honestly with Albania. Albanian Dental Clinic is not a clinic: we coordinate and accompany you; treatments are performed exclusively by licensed partner clinics in Albania.
Turkey: volume and price
Often the cheapest destination, with very large, high-volume clinics in Istanbul and Antalya. If your budget is tight and the distance doesn't worry you, it is a valid option.
Its drawback: distance and follow-up
The longer journey makes check-ups and post-operative follow-up harder — each review can mean another long trip — and English-speaking remote support is generally not provided.
Albania, with Albanian Dental Clinic
Easier to reach — a short direct flight from many European hubs — with comparable prices, plus what Turkey doesn't offer: a personal introduction at the partner clinic, a written quote with a guaranteed price, support in English and remote follow-up throughout the warranty.
Meet a named doctor before you decide
At the partner clinics, you speak with a real, named clinician — for example Dr. Klodian Bila, oral surgeon and implantologist, founder of Creadent Clinic & Lab — by videocall before you book anything. Real patients describe their own journeys on the reviews page.
Frequently asked questions
Is dental tourism in Turkey really the cheapest?
Turkey is often the cheapest destination, with large, high-volume clinics. Albania offers comparable prices and is a short direct flight from many European hubs.
Is follow-up after treatment provided in Turkey?
The distance makes check-ups harder. With Albanian Dental Clinic, follow-up is provided remotely, in English, for the entire warranty period.
Is it safe to have dental treatment abroad?
Yes — with licensed clinics, qualified practitioners and support at every step. We introduce you personally to the partner clinic and then follow up with you in English.

Dental implants in Croatia vs Albania
Croatia is a popular dental care destination for many European patients. Let's compare it honestly with Albania. Albanian Dental Clinic is not a clinic: we coordinate and accompany you; treatments are performed exclusively by licensed partner clinics in Albania.
Croatia: reachable by car for some
Its real advantage: from nearby parts of Europe it can sometimes be reached by car, without flying. If you live within driving distance and prefer the road, that is a genuine plus.
Its drawback: price
Prices there are generally higher than in Albania, Hungary or Turkey — so the savings are more modest.
Albania, with Albanian Dental Clinic
Prices among the lowest in Europe and, above all, a journey fully coordinated in English: a written quote with a guaranteed price, a personal introduction at the partner clinic, and remote follow-up during recovery and the warranty years. A short direct flight from many European hubs.
Meet a named doctor before you decide
At the partner clinics, you speak with a real, named clinician — for example Dr Redi Xhangolli, implant surgeon at Gaia Dental Clinic with international clinical experience across Italy, Germany and South Korea — by videocall before you book anything. Real patients describe their own journeys on the reviews page.
Frequently asked questions
Is dental care in Croatia cheaper than at home?
Often yes, but Croatian prices generally remain higher than in Albania, Hungary or Turkey. The savings are more modest.
Croatia or Albania: which should you choose?
Croatia is convenient if you can get there by car. For a better balance of price and support, with English-speaking remote follow-up, Albania with Albanian Dental Clinic is designed for exactly that.
Do I need to fly for treatment in Albania?
Albania is a short direct flight from many European hubs. We organize the flight and the airport transfer, and coordinate the whole journey in English.

Dental implants abroad: costs and clinics in Albania
Missing or badly damaged teeth don't wait for a convenient moment — and neither does the bill. In the UK, dental implants are almost never available on the NHS, so patients face private per-implant quotes that multiply quickly once the abutment and crown are added; in the US, implant work is largely paid out of pocket, since insurance rarely covers more than a small part of it. Dental implants abroad can cost a fraction of that — and Albania is among the lowest-priced destinations in Europe. In Tirana, selected partner clinics place implants with a written quote at a guaranteed price, and before you travel you speak in a videocall with the doctor who will treat you. Albanian Dental Clinic is not a clinic: we coordinate your journey in English; treatment is performed exclusively by a licensed partner clinic in Albania.
How much do dental implants cost abroad?
In Tirana the same treatment classes — brand-name implant systems, placed and restored by licensed partner clinics — are quoted from the clinic's own published list, and through the portal you receive a written quote at a guaranteed price, 20% off the clinic's own list, itemised line by line in the price list you receive by email. See the clinic price pages for how that works per clinic.
The cheapest country for dental implants — and what "cheap" must include
Searches for the cheapest country for dental implants usually shortlist Turkey, Hungary, Croatia and Albania. The honest answer is that a headline price means little on its own: a comparable quote must include diagnostics and 3D imaging, the abutment and prosthetic crown, the warranty terms, and who follows you up after you fly home. Albania competes at or below the prices of the better-known destinations, and every quote through the portal is written and itemised so you can compare destinations like for like before deciding anything.
Dental implants in Albania: why Tirana
Dental implants in Albania are concentrated in Tirana, where the portal works with selected partner clinics, each shown with its real Google rating — among them Gaia Dental Clinic (Straumann systems), Creadent Clinic and Primo Dental Clinic. Several run in-house prosthetics laboratories, which shortens the stay and keeps the crown work under the same roof as the surgery. You see the clinic, its rating and its price list before you commit to anything.
Full mouth and All-on-4/6
If most or all of the teeth in an arch are missing or cannot be saved, single implants are rarely the right plan — a full-arch solution on 4 or 6 implants usually is. That family has its own guide: full mouth dental implants with All-on-4/6, from around 2,400 € per arch at the partner clinics in Tirana.
How the portal works
Four steps, in this order: you send your case in English; you speak in a videocall with the doctor who will treat you — an orientation before travel, never a binding diagnosis; you receive a written quote at a guaranteed price, with 20% off the clinic's published list applied through the portal; and a dedicated English-speaking coordinator stays with you from the first call through your stay — travel and accommodation organised around your appointments — and into remote follow-up in English through the warranty years. The full journey is laid out at how it works.

Frequently asked questions
How much do dental implants cost in Albania?
Each partner clinic publishes its own price list; through the portal you receive a written quote at a guaranteed price, 20% below that list. There is no single number to quote honestly here — the clinic price pages show the real figures per clinic.
Is Albania one of the cheapest countries for dental implants?
It is consistently among the lowest-priced destinations in Europe. Compare complete quotes — implant, abutment, crown, warranty and follow-up — rather than headline prices alone.
Who performs the treatment?
Licensed partner clinics in Tirana, exclusively. Albanian Dental Clinic coordinates your journey and never performs treatment.
Can I speak to the doctor before travelling?
Yes — a videocall with the doctor who will treat you is part of every case. It is an orientation on your situation and plan, not a binding medical diagnosis.
What happens when I'm back home?
Your coordinator remains your contact: remote follow-up in English continues through the warranty years, with the treating clinic answering clinical questions.

Which implant system a clinic places, and where its crowns are made, is stated per clinic on materials and laboratories.
Veneers in Albania — and what to do when turkey teeth go wrong
Veneers abroad should never mean finding out in the chair what was actually planned for your teeth. At our selected partner clinics in Tirana — each shown with its real Google rating — veneers begin with a videocall with the doctor who will treat you and a written quote before you travel. And if veneer work abroad has already gone wrong, a second opinion is where we start. Albanian Dental Clinic is not a clinic: we coordinate your journey in English; treatments are performed exclusively by licensed partner clinics in Albania.
Veneers at the partner clinics: composite and porcelain
A veneer is a thin facing bonded to the front of a tooth to correct its colour, shape or minor alignment. The partner clinics work with the two established families of material:
Composite veneers — sculpted directly on the tooth, usually with little or no drilling; quicker and easier to repair, though they stain and wear sooner.
Porcelain veneers (E-max) — laboratory-made ceramic; more translucent, more colour-stable and longer-lasting, requiring a conservative preparation of the enamel.
Which suits your case depends on your teeth, your bite and what you want to change. That is decided with the practitioner after a review of your photos and X-rays — an orientation, never a binding diagnosis at a distance.
When turkey teeth go wrong: a second opinion
"Turkey teeth" has become shorthand for cosmetic work abroad that went further than the patient expected — most often healthy teeth filed down aggressively so that crowns could be fitted where veneers were advertised, followed by sensitivity, failing margins or a smile that never looked natural. Aggressive over-preparation is a documented pattern, not a verdict on any one clinic or country: it happens wherever treatment is sold before a doctor has examined the case, and follow-up ends at the airport.
If this has happened to you, the next decision matters more than the last one. A second opinion from a doctor at one of the partner clinics — by videocall, in English — costs nothing and commits you to nothing. The doctor reviews your records, explains what can be assessed remotely and what needs an in-person examination, and any proposed plan reaches you in writing before you decide anything.
Veneer or crown? Know what you are being offered
The distinction is preparation: a veneer covers the front surface and preserves most of the tooth; a crown covers the whole tooth and requires far more reduction. Much of what is marketed abroad as "veneers" is in fact full-coverage crown work — reasonable for damaged teeth, the wrong tool for a purely cosmetic change. Ask which one is on your quote, and why. When a crown genuinely is the right answer, our dental crowns in Albania page explains the materials; if you are weighing destinations, see Turkey or Albania.
What veneers cost in Albania
You will not find a veneer price list on this page, deliberately: veneer cases vary too much — number of teeth, material, whether earlier work needs correcting — for a single figure to be honest. Every case is quoted individually, in writing, at −20% off the partner clinic's own list price, with the figure guaranteed before you travel. The clinics' published lists and how the −20% works are on the prices page.
Your veneers in Tirana, coordinated in English
The journey is the same for a first-time case and a correction: a videocall with the treating doctor, a written quote at a guaranteed price, travel and accommodation arranged for you, a personal introduction at the clinic, and remote follow-up in English through the warranty period. The full sequence is on how it works; patients who have been through it speak for themselves on our reviews page.
The named specialists for veneers
Two doctors at the partner clinics carry veneers and cosmetic work as a stated specialty on their own profile: Dr Anisa Kurti (aesthetic smile design and minimally invasive veneers) and Dr Brunilda Sharra (cosmetic dentistry and high-definition veneers), both at Gaia Dental Clinic. Real patients describe their own results, filmed with written consent, on the reviews page.
Frequently asked questions
Can turkey teeth be fixed?
Often something can be done, but no honest answer exists before a doctor has seen your case. Start with a videocall second opinion — it is free, in English, and commits you to nothing; anything proposed comes as a written plan first.
Do veneers mean filing my teeth down?
Properly done, composite veneers need little or no drilling and porcelain veneers a conservative enamel preparation. Heavy filing usually signals crown work, not veneers — ask which is actually on your treatment plan.
How much do veneers cost in Albania?
There is no fixed veneer price: each case is quoted in writing at −20% off the partner clinic's own list price, guaranteed before you travel.
Albanian Dental Clinic coordinates your journey; treatments are performed exclusively by licensed partner clinics in Albania.
Turkey teeth gone wrong: what to actually do next
Sensitivity that won't settle. A bite that doesn't feel like yours. Crowns that look too uniform, too white, or are already coming loose. If cosmetic work abroad didn't go the way it was described, the next decision matters more than the last one — and it starts with a real doctor looking at what's actually in your mouth, not another quote from a brochure. Albanian Dental Clinic is not a clinic: we coordinate a second opinion in English with a doctor at a licensed partner clinic in Tirana; treatments are performed exclusively by that clinic.
What "turkey teeth" actually means
"Turkey teeth" has become shorthand for a specific pattern: healthy or lightly restorable teeth filed down aggressively so that crowns could be fitted where a smaller treatment — veneers, or no treatment at all — was advertised. It is a documented pattern, not a verdict on any one clinic or country: aggressive over-preparation happens wherever treatment is sold and performed in the same visit, before a doctor has properly examined the case, and where there is no realistic way to get a second opinion once you're already in the chair.
Signs something went wrong
Ongoing sensitivity to hot, cold or biting pressure, weeks or months after the work was finished.
A bite that feels wrong — teeth meeting unevenly, or jaw or muscle discomfort that wasn't there before.
Visible gum recession or dark lines at the edge of a crown, or teeth that look uniformly filed down rather than individually shaped.
Crowns or veneers that feel loose, or a colour and shape that doesn't match what was actually agreed beforehand.
None of this is a self-diagnosis — it's what to notice before you decide what to do next.
What a second opinion actually involves
A videocall with a doctor at one of the partner clinics, in English — reviewing your records, any photos you have, and what was actually done, as far as it can be assessed remotely. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing. The doctor explains what can be judged from photos and history, and what genuinely needs an in-person examination before any plan is written down. Nothing is proposed as a fix over a video call — only as a written plan, after you decide whether to go further.
Why follow-up abroad usually stops at the airport
The pattern behind most "gone wrong" cases isn't only the dentistry — it's that the same clinic that did the aggressive work is also the only one positioned to reassess it, and a return trip is exactly what most patients are trying to avoid. Every case coordinated through Albanian Dental Clinic includes remote follow-up in English through the warranty years for exactly this reason — the point of a second opinion is that it doesn't have to come from the clinic that caused the problem.
What can actually be done — depends on the case
There is no single fix, and no honest answer before a doctor has actually seen the case. Depending on how the teeth were prepared and what's realistic from here, the options a partner clinic might discuss include: refitting or replacing existing crowns with better-fitted restorations; addressing gum-line and colour-match issues where the underlying tooth structure allows it; or, in more involved cases, a fuller restorative plan similar to what's covered on our dental crowns page. Which of these applies to you is a question for the in-person examination, not this page.
The named specialists for corrective cosmetic work
Two doctors at the partner clinics carry cosmetic and veneer work as a stated specialty on their own profile:
Dr Anisa Kurti (Gaia Dental Clinic) — over 20 years of clinical experience, more than 20,000 cases treated; her profile states aesthetic smile design and minimally invasive veneers as a named specialty.
Dr Brunilda Sharra (Gaia Dental Clinic) — her profile states cosmetic dentistry and high-definition veneers as a named specialty.
If you decide to go ahead
The same written-quote model applies to corrective work as to any other case: a written plan and guaranteed price, at −20% off the partner clinic's own list, before you travel — see how prices work. There is no separate "correction" price list; every case, first-time or corrective, is quoted individually once a doctor has actually reviewed it.
Frequently asked questions
Can turkey teeth actually be fixed?
Often something can be done, but there is no honest answer before a doctor has seen your case. Start with the free videocall second opinion — it commits you to nothing, and any proposed plan comes in writing before you decide anything further.
Do I need to travel just to get a second opinion?
No — the initial review is a videocall, in English, from wherever you are. Travel is only relevant if and when you decide to go ahead with treatment at the partner clinic.
Will the doctor blame the clinic that did the original work?
No — the review is about what's realistic from here for your case, not a verdict on another clinic. The point is a second, independent set of eyes before you decide anything.
Is a second opinion really free?
Yes. The videocall review costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You only receive a written quote if and when you choose to proceed.

Prices in Tirana: the clinic list price and your portal price
Every partner clinic in Tirana publishes its own price list. Albanian Dental Clinic is not a clinic: it is the booking portal that connects you to those clinics — and booking through the portal changes what you pay. This page explains how the two prices relate, and where to find each clinic's list.
How the −20% works
The partner clinics set and publish their own list prices — we do not write them. When you book through Albanian Dental Clinic, the clinic issues your quote at −20% off its list price. The quote is written, at a guaranteed price, and you receive it before any commitment: the number does not move on arrival, and requesting it costs nothing.
The partner clinics' price lists

The price list by email
Each clinic's prices page works the same way: you leave your email address only, and the clinic's complete price list arrives in your inbox from support@kldatechnologies.com. No phone number is required to receive it.
How the written quote works
Before any figure is put on paper, you have a videocall with the doctor who would treat you, so the plan reflects your actual case, not a template. The clinic then issues a written quote at a guaranteed price, with the −20% already applied to its list. You review it at home, in English, with no commitment — travel is only booked once you decide.

Write to us by form, email or WhatsApp — a few lines about your situation, plus X-rays or photos if you have them. A dedicated contact reads your case and replies to you personally: no call centre, no template answer. From a single dental implant to a full-arch rehabilitation, every case starts the same way.
2. Videocall with the doctor who would treat you
Before you book anything — and before you travel — you speak by video with the doctor who would actually treat you, not a salesperson. The doctor reviews your scans and explains what your case likely involves. This call is an orientation and an explanation of the possibilities; it is never a binding diagnosis — that can only follow an in-person examination at the clinic.
Every doctor in this step is real and named — see the full doctors directory. Here is what that call actually leads to, in a patient's own words:
Patients treated in Tirana describe teeth worn down over years, failing crowns and dentures — and life after. Published with written consent.
3. A written quote at a guaranteed price
You then receive a written quote at a guaranteed price: booking through the portal takes −20% off the partner clinic's own list price, and the quote names the treatment, the materials and the warranty. The number on that document is the number you pay — it does not move on arrival.
4. Travel arranged
Once you decide to go ahead, we arrange the trip with you: flight options, airport transfer and your stay in Tirana, organised around the clinic's schedule so treatment days and rest days fit together. You always know where you need to be, and when.
5. In Tirana, you are never on your own
On arrival you are personally introduced at the clinic — a face, not a reception desk. Your dedicated contact remains reachable throughout your stay, and language assistance is included: consultations are translated so nothing important is lost between you and the doctor.
6. After you fly home
The journey does not end at the airport. We follow up with you remotely, in English, through recovery and the warranty years — checking healing, relaying questions to your doctor, and coordinating anything the warranty covers.
Few patients at a time. By choice.
We deliberately limit the number of patients we follow at any one time. That preserves the time each case needs — clinical review with the doctor, careful reading of your file, translation of every consultation, and post-operative assistance that actually happens. We welcome everyone, but we serve to a standard.
What our assistance costs
ADC's assistance adds no cost for the patient. The price on your written quote — the clinic's list price with the −20% applied — is what you pay; our coordination, translation and follow-up are not billed on top of it.
Frequently asked questions
Is dental work abroad safe?
It depends entirely on the clinic — which is why we select the partner clinics and check them against previous patients' feedback, and each clinic is shown with its real Google rating. Add the videocall with your doctor before you commit, the written quote before you travel, and the filmed patient testimonials, and you can judge for yourself before booking anything.
How long does a stay in Tirana take?
It varies with the treatment: shorter stays for crowns and veneers, several days for implant work, and some treatments need a second visit after healing. The exact schedule is set by the treating doctor after reviewing your case — never by a brochure.
Who actually performs the treatment?
Always the licensed partner clinic and its doctors. ADC never performs any medical act: we coordinate your case, your trip and your follow-up, and the clinic treats you.

Why Albania: the honest case for UK and US patients
Implant and full-arch work is almost never available on the NHS, so UK patients face a long private plan or an indefinite wait; American patients typically see five-figure quotes per arch. If you're weighing treatment abroad against that reality: not a sales pitch — a list of verifiable reasons, each of which you can check before you spend a penny. It starts with the one thing almost nobody else offers: you meet your doctor, face to face, before you ever book. Albanian Dental Clinic is not a clinic: we coordinate your journey in English; treatments are performed exclusively by licensed partner clinics in Tirana.
What is dental tourism, and is it actually worth it?
Dental tourism means travelling to another country for dental care that costs less there, or is scheduled without the wait you'd face at home — most often implants, full-arch work, crowns and veneers, the treatments that carry the highest bills and the longest queues domestically. Hungary and Turkey are the two destinations most people have already heard of; Albania is newer to that conversation — an EU-candidate country, a shorter flight from the UK than either, with the same treatment classes and English-speaking coordination.
The honest question isn't whether dental tourism as a category works — patients travel for it every year. It's whether this specific clinic, in this specific country, can be checked before you commit. That's what the rest of this page actually is: not a general case for treatment abroad, but the specific, verifiable reasons this particular route holds up — starting with the one most people never get offered.
You meet your doctor face to face — before you book anything
This is the key difference. Before any money moves and before you travel, you sit in a video call with the doctor who would actually treat you — not a salesperson, not a coordinator reading a script. The doctor looks at your X-rays with you, explains what your case likely involves, and answers your questions in person. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing; it is an orientation, never a binding diagnosis — that can only follow an in-person examination. You judge the person who would hold the drill before you decide anything. Most clinics abroad quote you from a brochure; here, the first thing you get is the doctor's face and the doctor's honest reading of your case.
Getting here is simpler than it sounds
From the UK, Tirana is a direct flight of around three hours from London and other hubs. From the US, it is one stop through a major European airport. On arrival, the airport transfer and your stay are organised around the clinic's schedule — treatment days and rest days planned together, so you always know where you need to be. Trip planning is part of ADC's service, and the service adds no cost for the patient.
The price difference — and the waiting
The comparison is not just money: it's the wait, and what "out of pocket" actually means once treatment starts. In Tirana, the same treatment classes are quoted in writing, at a guaranteed price, 20% off the partner clinic's own list — see how the two prices relate and full mouth All-on-4/6 for the treatment family most patients come for. The saving funds the trip several times over; the quote tells you exactly by how much, before you book anything.
Doctors with real casework, materials with real names
The partner clinics are led by doctors with verifiable experience and affiliations — surgical backgrounds at Tirana's university hospital among them — working with brand-name materials and implant systems (Straumann® at Gaia, among others) and, at several clinics, an in-house prosthetics laboratory. Every clinic is shown with its real Google rating, and you speak with the doctor who would treat you by videocall before you travel. Nothing about the clinics is invented — check each one on its own page and on Google.
Guarantees on paper, not promises in the air
Everything that matters is written down: the treatment plan, the guaranteed price, the materials, and the warranty terms from the licensed partner clinic. During your stay your dedicated contact is reachable around the clock; after you fly home, remote follow-up in English continues through the warranty years, and anything the warranty covers is handled at no charge — ADC's own assistance is never billed on top. If something needs attention, you contact us and we coordinate it with the clinic; that is the job.
Commitments you can verify before you travel
ADC operates as a registered service and puts its commitments in writing, in agreements that name the parties — documents you can have checked with the relevant authorities, including through your own embassy or consulate, before you come. You are never asked to rely on a website's word: the written quote, the clinic's warranty and ADC's service commitments exist on paper before you book, and our commitment stands until the work delivered matches the written plan.
Is Albania safe for dental treatment?
The honest answer is the same one that applies anywhere: it depends entirely on the clinic, not the country. That is why Albanian Dental Clinic works with a selected list of partner clinics, not every dental practice in Tirana — each one vetted before joining the network, each one shown with its real Google rating, and each one staffed by doctors whose registration you can check yourself (see the next section). Albania is an EU-candidate country with its own dental licensing framework; the practical safeguard for you is not a claim about the country as a whole, but the fact that you meet the specific doctor who would treat you, by videocall, before you book anything — and can walk away at no cost if anything about that call doesn't sit right.
Licensing and registration, verifiable
Every doctor on this site is named, with a stated registration or affiliation you can check independently — several are registered with the Order of Physicians of Albania. None of this is asserted without a link or a name attached — check the registration, the hospital, and the coverage yourself before you take our word for any of it.
The doctors, by name
Not a marketing photo — three real, named clinicians across the partner clinics, each with their own page and their own videocall:
Language: every step — the first message, the videocall, the in-clinic visit, the follow-up — happens in English; interpretation is arranged for anything spoken in Albanian at the clinic itself. Money: you never pay ADC directly for its own coordination — the only payment is to the licensed partner clinic, against the written quote, and the −20% is applied before that figure is shown to you, not negotiated afterwards. If something feels wrong at any stage — before you travel or during your stay — your dedicated contact is who you tell, not a review site after the fact; that is what "coordination" is actually for.
Frequently asked questions
Is the videocall a real medical diagnosis?
No — it is an orientation: the doctor reviews what you send and explains what your case likely involves. A binding diagnosis can only follow an in-person examination at the clinic.
What happens if I don't like the doctor on the call?
Nothing is owed at that point — the call costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You are not obligated to book anything as a result of it.
Do I deal with ADC or the clinic once I arrive?
Both: the clinic performs your treatment, and your ADC contact remains reachable throughout your stay and after, coordinating anything that needs it in English.
Judge it by the people who went
Real patients, filmed with written consent, describe the journey in their own words — the fears, the costs, and how it ended — on the reviews page. That, plus the clinic ratings and the written documents, is the evidence base. Compare it with anything at home, then decide.
